How do I sync files between computers?

Syncing multiple computers is easy to do. You will need to install the Inbox Storage application on each computer and use the same login for each.

Follow the steps below to install the application onto your computers:

  1. Go to the Inbox Storage Download page and download the Inbox Storage application onto each computer you want to sync with. The application can be downloaded for Windows® based systems.
  2. During installation, you will need to enter your login information (or create a new account). You only need one account to sync your files online and across multiple computers.
    1. For new accounts, follow the steps provided in the installation wizard and you can create an account from the Inbox Storage website. This is the account that all your computers will be linked to.
    2. For existing accounts, use the same email and password you use to log in to your Inbox Storage account.
  3. Once installed, an Inbox Storage folder will appear on your hard drive. Any files you add to this folder will automatically be synced with the Inbox Storage website and all linked computers.
  4. After the Inbox Storage application is installed with the same login on each computer, the Inbox Storage folder will appear in them containing your synced files.
